Watershed, a SaaS-based carbon management solution provider, has announced the launch of Watershed Disclosures, a tool to produce climate disclosures to meet mandatory and voluntary reporting requirements.

Watershed Disclosures will be used by companies to understand which disclosures specifically apply to them, to build audit-ready disclosure reports, and to develop best-in-class responses supported by peer responses and expert guidance. 

Analyst QuickTake: The company launched Watershed Disclosures on the heels of the Watershed Policy Advisory Board announcement in May 2023. This advisory board includes former leaders from the institutions which define the new climate policy, including US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD), the UK’s Financial Services Authority, CDP, and the Integrity Council for the Voluntary Carbon Market (IC-VCM). During the same month, Watershed also collaborated with KPMG to support companies with climate-related reporting.
