Germany-based university spinoff Artificient Mobility Intelligence secured ~USD 0.5 million in pre-seed funding. The round was led by Lifetime Ventures, with participation from existing investor APX, Porsche AG, and angel investors Travenco and Friends.
The funding will be used to accelerate the launch of Artificient's smart driving app, GIZO, in partnership with its initial batch of B2B partners across Europe and Asia.
A spinoff of RWTH Aachen University in Germany, Artificient Mobility Intelligence specializes in the development of automotive AI technology. Its vision-based road safety mobile app, GIZO, uses computer vision technology that aims to empower safer and greener mobility solutions by enabling drivers to prevent accidents, reduce carbon footprint, and save on insurance costs. The company has received support from the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action and the European Institute of Innovation and Technology through public innovation grants.
