Analyst QuickTake: This partnership comes amidst Living Greens Farms’ efforts to expand its geographical footprint. The company announced its expansion plans into the Upper Midwest in February 2021, accompanied by a distribution agreement with UNFI Produce Prescott to supply its vertically grown produce across the region. The company also disclosed its intention to invest USD 70 million in constructing a new vertical farm in Muncie, Indiana , aimed at serving markets in the northern, southern, and eastern US. With this new partnership, the company is looking to target markets beyond the US.
