Truework, an income and employment verification platform, has raised USD 24 million in equity funding from TransUnion, a consumer credit reporting company. This round brings Truework's total funds raised up to USD 119 million.
The two companies also deepen their partnership and TransUnion will cross-sell Truework’s product alongside its main credit offering, allowing a bank to access both credit and income data through a single API. This should also give Truework greater exposure to large enterprises across the globe.
TransUnion also aims to leverage the partnership to compete more effectively against its rival, Equifax, which offers both credit and income verification products.
