Netherlands-based Skytree, a developer of direct air capture (DAC) technology for indoor air purification, has raised USD 6 million in a seed funding round co-led by Horticoop and Yield Lab Europe. This brings the company's total funding to USD 12 million.
The company intends to use the proceeds to scale up the adoption of its proprietary DAC technology and achieve its mission to capture 10 million tons of CO2 by 2030.
Besides the funding, the company also announced the appointment of Mark Henderson as its global COO and president of North America.
