NoTraffic, a traffic management platform, raised USD 50 million in a Series B funding round led by M and G Investments, with participation from new investors VNV Global and UMC Capital and existing investors Grove Ventures, Vektor Partners, and Next Gear Ventures.
The company intends to use the funds to broaden its scope from traffic intersection management to a comprehensive solution that enhances road safety and traffic flow in cities while also expanding into new markets such as Japan, Italy, Germany, and the UK.
The company also reported significant growth since its Series A funding, expanding its operations to encompass 13 US states. It has also recently achieved a notable milestone by securing its 100th department of transportation customer.
Analyst QuickTake: This funding round indicates strong investor confidence in NoTraffic’s growth potential and its innovative approach to modernizing traffic management. The funding comes after the company's successful Series A round in July 2021, where it secured USD 17.5 million led by Lars Fjeldsoe-Nielsen and Vektor Partners.
