Revolut, a UK-based neobank serving the B2C and B2B segments, has launched a robo-advisory platform in the US that allows customers to automate their investments. It charges an annual fee of 0.25% and customers can start investing with a monthly minimum of USD 0.25.
Customers can select from five diversified portfolios according to their risk tolerance and the robo-advisor will automatically invest their funds in the market and manage it. The robo-advisor is built by Revolut and it also includes automatic portfolio rebalancing features.
Analyst QuickTake: Neobanks have expanded their features to offer customers a comprehensive range of financial services in addition to traditional banking services, empowering them to effectively manage their finances and build wealth. Currently, in select regions such as the US and the European Economic Area, Revolut provides its customers with a stock and a cryptocurrency trading platform. Meanwhile, other startups like Stash Financial , Acorns , and M1 Finance also offer a combination of robo-advisors and banking features.
