Gamercraft, a gaming platform that uses AI for skill-based console and PC gaming, has raised USD 5 million in a funding round led by the co-founders of Alienware, with participation from Le Fonds, Mistral Ventures, Quantic Fund, Stellaria Capital, and others. This brings Gamercraft's total funding to USD 6.8 million.
The company plans to use the funding to expand its engineering and platform capabilities, develop new games and genres for 2024, and grow its marketing arm. The company also intends to explore and innovate in the areas of competitive and blockchain gaming.
Gamercraft employs AI and blockchain technology to enhance gaming experiences through challenges, competitions, and advanced anti-cheat detection. The company uses minimally invasive methods to create accurate player profiles, which aids in better matchmaking and boosts player retention and engagement. Gamercraft generates revenue from subscriptions and a portion of match entry fees, primarily from its competitive platform for major games like League of Legends, Valorant, and CS:GO.
