Inngest, a platform for building and managing serverless workflows, raised USD 3 million in new funding led by GGV Capital, Guillermo Rauch, and Tom Preston-Werner, with participation from Afore Capital and Comma Capital, among others. This round brings the company's total funding to USD 4.5 million.
Inngest offers a platform that enables developers to write, test, and deploy serverless workflows via Typescript without requiring any configuration. Users can define a function for any event and have Inngest automatically call this function and manage retries when needed. Furthermore, the platform invokes functions and handles background tasks across existing TypeScript or JavaScript codebases.
