Fisker to produce 100 limited edition EVs for Indian market

Product updates

  • Fisker, an NYSE-listed EV manufacturer, reported that it will be producing 100 Fisker Extreme Vigyan Edition electric SUVs for the Indian market.

  • The company already established an office in Hyderabad in 2022. Following this, Fisker expects to get approvals for sale in India by September 2023 and plans to begin deliveries in Q4 2023. The price of the EV is to be in line with counterparts sold in Europe (EUR 69,950 in Germany) with the addition of import taxes and logistics costs.

  • Analyst QuickTake: In June 2023 , Fisker began deliveries of its first 22 Fisker Ocean One launch edition SUVs to customers in the US. This was following the commencement of production in November 2022 and the delivery of the EV to European customers in May 2023. Additionally, in July 2023 , Fisker made an offering of USD 340 million in convertible notes. The company intends to use the funds for general corporate purposes as well as for the development of an additional battery pack line to support growth from 2024 onward.
