Steakholder Foods partners with GCC governmental body to commercialize 3D-bioprinting technology

Partnerships

  • Steakholder Foods (formerly MeaTech), an Israeli cell-cultured meat producer, has entered a Memorandum of Agreement for Strategic Cooperation (MOA) with an accredited Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC)-based governmental body to advance food security efforts using Steakholder Foods' 3D-printing technology for cultivated meat. The partnership aims to build a pilot plant and later establish a large-scale production facility in the Persian Gulf region.

  • The MOA will leverage Steakholder Foods' expertise in 3D-printing technology and customized bio inks to produce species-specific cultivated fish, meat, and vegetable-based products to overcome the limitations of traditional food production and provide consistent, nutritious, and safe alternatives that closely resemble conventional meat and fish.
