Yo! Egg partners with Veggie Grill for nationwide launch

Partnerships

  • Yo! Egg, an Israeli plant-based egg startup, has partnered with Veggie Grill, a plant-based quick service restaurant (QSR), to launch plant-based whole eggs at Veggie Grill locations across the US, marking the first nationwide launch of Yo! Egg.

  • The partnership aims to offer Veggie Grill customers innovative and safe plant-based egg options, with Yo! Egg also planning to introduce yolk-free fried eggs and a poached egg.

  • Yo Egg's award-winning plant-based whole eggs, known for its runny yolk, will be featured in three exclusive dishes at Veggie Grill: Yo Poached Egg Avocado Toast, Huevos Rancheros Bowl with Yo Sunny-Side-Up Egg, and Yo Egg Kimchi Burger.

  • AnalystQuickTake: In May 2022, Yo! Egg raised USD 5 million in seed funding, earmarked for US expansion plans, among other objectives. The company then launched its whole-egg product at the National Restaurant Association trade show in Chicago that same month and entered the US food service market in February 2023.
