ev.energy raises USD 33 million in funding

Funding

  • ev.energy, a UK-based EV charging software platform, has raised USD 33 million in a Series B funding round led by National Grid Partners. This brings the company’s total funding to USD 46 million.

  • The company intends to use the funding to expand its global operations and build on its growth across North America and the UK.

  • Other participants in the funding round included Aviva Ventures, WEX Venture Capital, InMotion Ventures, the investment arm of JLR, and existing investors Energy Impact Partners, Future Energy Ventures, and ArcTern Ventures.

  • Founded in 2018, ev.energy has developed a cloud-based, end-to-end platform that intelligently manages charging for more than 120,000 EVs daily by charging vehicles at optimum times for the grid. Furthermore, in 2023, the company also extended its virtual power plant to include vehicle-to-grid (V2G) solutions and introduced a fleet management platform, known as “Pando.”
