Ecorobotix, a Switzerland-based startup that manufactures AI-based precision farming robots with low environmental impact, has expanded its high-precision spraying robot ARA to the US.
Ecorobotix's expansion into the US market has been marked by the establishment of its US subsidiary, Ecorobotix Inc, and its membership in the Western Growers Association (WGA) in California. Ecorobotix Inc would make its initial appearance at the International Forum for Agricultural Robotics (FIRA) in Salinas, California this September, with field demonstrations of its ARA.
Analyst QuickTake: ARA was launched in 2021, and, since then, it has expanded to 13 European countries. Ecorobotix marked its expansion into North America with its entry into Canada in May 2023. This move followed a USD 52 million funding round in the same month, a part of which was allocated for expanding the company's global presence, starting with the Americas.
