ENOUGH raises EUR 40 million in funding

Funding

  • ENOUGH (formerly 3F BIO), a Scottish plant-based ingredient producer, has raised EUR 40 million (~USD 43.5 million) in funding co-led by World Fund and CPT Capital with participation from existing investors such as AXA IM Alts, HAL Investments, Onassis Group, and others.

  • The funding will be used to double the output capacity of the Netherlands production site and increase its teams across its Glasgow, London, and Sas van Gent offices. The company expects to begin retail launches by the end of this year and add a second production line by 2H 2024.

  • Analyst QuickTake: This funding round comes after more than two years since ENOUGH’s EUR 42 million (~USD 49 million) Series B funding and is the largest funding in the plant-based meat industry for 2023 yet. Bolstered by partnerships with industry-leading companies such as Unilever and Marks & Spencer, the company aims to produce over a million tons of plant protein cumulatively by 2032.
