Transfix, a provider of freight matching and tracking solutions for fleets, has launched a new security feature for its platform aimed at verifying load authenticity and reducing freight fraud.
The new feature adds a unique QR code to the platform’s rate confirmations, which enables the users to scan the code and verify the authenticity of a transfix load. Scanning the code directs the users to a dedicated landing page where shipment details are validated. The QR code serves as a defense against fraudulent activities, particularly those involving the impersonation of legitimate freight brokers and shippers.
Analyst QuickTake: This feature is the latest security enhancement Transfix has introduced for its platform. In June, the company partnered with Highway , a provider of carrier identification solutions, to enhance the efficiency and transparency of carrier compliance and onboarding process.
