Eat JUST secures new funding from industry non-profit

Funding

  • Eat JUST (formerly Hampton Creek), a California-based FoodTech company has raised an undisclosed amount in new funding led by VegInvest/Ahimsa Foundation.

  • The funding will help to improve the quality and profitability of Eat JUST's products sold under the JUST Egg and GOOD Meat brands.

  • Analyst QuickTake: Eat JUST has secured over USD 700 million (including USD 267 million for GOOD Meat) up to date, backed by significant investors that include Khosla Ventures, the Qatar Investment Authority, and Alibaba Group-backed private equity firm C2 Capital Partners. The company is among the highest-funded private companies in both plant-based egg and cell-cultured meat categories.
