Steakholder Foods launches in-house 3D modeling software

Product updates

  • Steakholder Foods (formerly MeaTech), an Israeli FoodTech company, has launched its proprietary Light CAD Editor, a software that allows clients to create, test, and optimize 3D models and fibrous textures.

  • The Light CAD Editor enables clients to customize their 3D bioprinting projects and offers a comprehensive solution for creating optimized 3D-printed meat products.

  • Analyst QuickTake: Earlier this year, the company announced its new 3D printing business model to provide 3D-printing technology and bio-inks for other hybrid meat and cell-cultured meat producers. The new software will help these new B2B customers supplement their 3D printing initiatives and eliminate the need for third-party software or extensive training.
