Swan raises EUR 37 million in Series B funding

Funding

  • Swan, a banking-as-a-service (BaaS) infrastructure provider, has raised EUR 37 million (~USD 40 million) in Series B funding led by Lakestar, with participation from existing investors. This brings the company's total funds raised to EUR 58 million (~USD 63 million).

  • The newly raised funds will be invested in adding more payment collection methods, expanding the platform to include lending, and introducing local international bank account numbers (IBANs) for the Netherlands (in the following months) and Italy (early 2024).

  • Swan is a France-based white-label BaaS platform that mainly offers accounts, cards and payments solutions (SEPA transfers and debits) to enterprises for several use cases, including financial management, property and rent managements, and payroll. It enables users to create and manage payment accounts, virtual and local IBANs, and capital deposits. Meanwhile, its card infrastructure can be used to issue virtual, single-use, and physical cards for customers and employees.
