Formlabs, a provider of 3D-printing solutions, announced the launch of two new materials, Silicone 40A and Alumina 4N Resin.
The company has also introduced its new Open Platform option, which allows access to third-party materials, customizable print settings, and open material printing. Additionally, Formlabs has made its Fuse 1+30W SLS 3D printer more affordable, with a Starter Package priced at USD 24,999.
Silicone 40A Resin is a 100% silicone 3D-printing material that combines the properties of cast silicone with the flexibility of 3D printing. Alumina 4N Resin is a high-purity technical ceramic material that offers design freedom and affordability for ceramic engineering.
Formlabs claims that these new materials and the Open Platform option expand the possibilities for manufacturing and other industries, offering greater design freedom and cost savings.
