The Raging Pig Company has partnered with SIGGIS, a Munich-based restaurant chain, to launch the Raging Weibwurst, a plant-based Bavarian white sausage, during Oktoberfest.
The Raging Weibwurst is made with peas and mushrooms and will be available as a traditional breakfast meal at SIGGIS restaurants.
The Ragin Pig Company, founded in 2022, specializes in plant-based pork products. It has developed a proprietary fat encapsulation process for creating its plant-based portfolio, which includes pigless bacon and a German bratwurst alternative. The company’s products are targeted at foodservice and are available throughout Germany.
