EcoVadis, a French provider of business sustainability ratings, has added a new feature named EcoVadis Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) Data Exchange to its Carbon Action Module (CAM). The company aims to report on the precise GHG emissions of specific products to improve customers' decarbonization actions.
The improved platform collects PCF data from suppliers and compares them across supplier networks. Apart from customers, suppliers are given access to an EcoVadis Academy course, the EcoVadis network, and collaborative insights for emissions reductions at high-impact points in product lifecycles.
EcoVadis’ PCF data exchange is built according to the Partnership for Carbon Transparency (PACT) Pathfinder Framework to attain the global standard for product-level emissions accounting and exchange.
