California-based FoodTech startup Novel Farms has been awarded a USD 999,967 Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Phase II grant from the National Science Foundation (NSF).
Novel Farms’ Phase II project will focus on reducing media costs further through the continuous development of its proprietary scaffolding technology, with the new funding going toward expanding its team and scaling its process from bench to bioreactor level.
