Partnerships

  • Evolve Additive Solutions, a seller of 3D printers and related products, has partnered with additive manufacturing solutions provider alphacam GmbH to offer additive manufacturing parts as a service in Europe.

  • The partnership will utilize Evolve's Selective Thermoplastic Electrophotographic Process (STEP) technology to produce fully dense, high-fidelity thermoplastic parts with near injection molding surface finish and properties.

  • alphacam will leverage its experience in 3D printing plastic parts to deliver STEP parts to customers in automotive, consumer electronics, medical device, and retail markets, among others. The goal is to replace traditional manufacturing methods with STEP technology for various applications.

  • Analyst QuickTake: This announcement signifies Evolve's second partnership aimed at establishing STEP production centers of excellence worldwide. The initial partnership was with Fathom Digital Manufacturing, which already provides STEP parts in North America. On a separate note, the company also launched a production assessment program in March this year, offering customers the opportunity to work with an engineering team to analyze and validate the business case, thereby improving customer experience.
