Muir AI, a carbon footprint measurement startup, has raised USD 3.3 million in a seed funding round led by Base10 Partners. Existing investors such as Madrona Venture Labs and Soma Capital also participated in the round. This brings the company's total funding to 3.8 million.
The funding will be utilized to develop Muir AI's software solution for estimating and reducing Scope 3 emissions. The company aims to improve its data analytics capabilities and expand its customer base.
Founded in 2022, Muir AI is a carbon intelligence platform that participated in Madrona Venture Labs’ accelerator. The company measures supply chain emissions through supply chain models, geospatial data, and emissions modeling. It enables the generation of accurate carbon data even when minimal data is available.
