Cambridge Quantum Computing integrates with Strangeworks and partners with the German Aerospace Center

  • The UK-based quantum software company Cambridge Quantum Computing (CQC) has announced the integration of CQC’s “Tket”, a quantum software stack and compiling platform which translates machine-independent algorithms into executable circuits with Strangeworks Quantum Syndicate (SQS), the quantum computing hub of Texas-based quantum computing startup Strangeworks.

  • The integration will widen CQC’s reach. In addition, Strangeworks’ users will benefit from Tket’s enterprise-level support for multiple devices and languages while enabling rapid prototyping and benchmarking.

  • CQC has also partnered with the German Aerospace Center (Deutsches Zentrum für Luftund Raumfahrt; DLR) to build better simulation models for developing batteries, through quantum computing. Improved batteries with better modeling are expected to be efficient in various parameters whilst also reducing the level of lithium used, resulting in sustainable energy utilization.

  • Founded in 2014, CQC develops hardware-agnostic enterprise solutions for quantum computers in optimization, chemistry, machine learning, and cybersecurity. The company takes credit for industry breakthroughs such as the implementation of quantum algorithms to calculate the excited states of molecules. The company has operations across the US, Europe, and Japan and counts some Fortune Global 500 companies as customers.
