PsiQuantum and STFC’s Hartree Centre collaborate to develop fault-tolerant quantum computing in UK

Partnerships

  • California-based PsiQuantum has partnered with the UK-based Science and Technology Facilities Council's (STFC) Hartree Centre and National Security Strategic Investment Fund (NSSIF) to develop Fault-Tolerant Quantum Computing (FTQC) applications in the UK.

  • The 12-month-long collaboration will leverage the expertise and resources of the Hartree Centre to develop FTQC algorithms. The partnership aims to build an FTQC knowledge base, identify high-impact problem statements, and develop algorithms for two key applications. The collaboration will provide training, workshops, and two industrially relevant use cases to build FTQC expertise and capabilities in the UK.
