French quantum hardware startup Pasqal has launched Qadence, an open-source Python library, which aims to simplify the process of building and executing digital-analog quantum programs on interacting qubit systems.
Qadence offers native symbolic parameters, integration with the PyTorch automatic differentiation engine, and advanced parameter shift rules for higher-order differentiation on real quantum devices. It allows developers to seamlessly transition from simulations to real devices and express complex interactions among qubits. PASQAL plans to improve Qadence with noise channels, error mitigation techniques, and additional emulation modes.
