Scope3, a sustainability platform, has raised USD 20 million in a Series B funding round led by GV. Other investors, such as Room40 Ventures and Venrockin, participated in this round.
The funding will be utilized to advance Scope3's collaborative sustainability platform and expand its global team of advertising, tech, and sustainability experts. The company also expects to increase its data and measurement capabilities.
Founded in 2021, Scope3 calculates the carbon footprint of the entire digital advertising supply chain. It analyzes the CO2 emissions in the ad ecosystem to enable data-driven decisions for decarbonization. Scope3’s interconnected emissions model powers its collaborative sustainability platform, the Climate Shield, and Green Media Products (GMPs) offered by the company.
