Brightseed launches upcycled and non-GMO-certified gut health ingredient

Product updates

  • Brightseed, a bioactives company, has launched its first bioactive-containing ingredient called Brightseed Bio Gut Fiber. The product is Upcycled Certified and non-GMO Project Verified and is made from upcycled hemp hulls.

  • Brightseed Bio Gut Fiber is a fiber ingredient that contains N-trans-caffeoyltyramine (NCT) and N-trans-feruloyltyramine (NFT), two pre-clinically studied bioactives for gut support that also prevent toxins and pathogens from entering the bloodstream.

  • Founded in 2017, Brightseed uses biosciences and AI to discover nature's healing compounds. The company utilizes its AI platform, Forage, to explore the molecular level of compounds, revealing how plants and microbes influence health. The company claims that Forager has found 40x more plant compounds than known in literature and is rapidly discovering more nature-human connections. To date, the company has identified 30,000 bioactives and is targeting 22 health territories for its solutions.
