Fictiv, a manufacturing platform, has announced updates to its 3D-printing service, including expanded materials, online quoting features, and partnerships with additive manufacturers like Jabil. The new materials are available for purchase in the USA and the pricing has been reduced.
The 3D printing service now offers 14 new materials for advanced engineering applications, including high-temperature and biocompatible options. Customers can select from three different lead time options, configure infill density and threaded insert specifications, and filter materials by application.
Fictiv claims that these updates provide customers with full-suite additive manufacturing capabilities for prototyping and production needs. The expanded materials and configuration options, along with the partnerships with additive manufacturers, deliver industry-leading solutions at a cost-effective price point.
