Huue’s bio-based indigo dye to be used in AGI denims

Partnerships

  • Huue, a California-based startup developing bio-based dyes for jeans, has partnered with AGI Denim, a Pakistani denim manufacturer, to use Huue Indigo to dye denim and jeans more sustainably.

  • Huue's technology offers a drop-in replacement for conventional indigo dyes, allowing compatibility with existing equipment in the denim industry. The goal is to bring eco-friendlier denim products to market quickly and demonstrate the potential for sustainable manufacturing.

  • Analyst QuickTake: Huue has been working on commercializing its bio-based dyes, which were in the product development stage until last year. Via this partnership, the company is moving toward the commercialization stage with an aim to launch commercial pilot projects and scale up production with partnered denim manufacturers.
