Product updates

  • REBL Eats, a Finnish vegan ready-meals producer, has partnered with La Vie, a French plant-based alternative startup, to launch a plant-based pasta carbonara at Kesko stores in Finland.

  • The plant-based carbonara features La Vie's veggie lardons to provide a comparable taste to the traditional version, usually made with either pancetta or bacon. The company claims it has been well-received in Finland, with around 1,000 units sold weekly since the launch.

  • Analyst QuickTake: REBL Eats’ ready-meal range offers vegan alternatives to dishes, such as ragu and chili con carne. It is available in over 300 stores across 12 Nordic countries, with plans to expand into other European markets soon.
