MidJourney, an image-based platform, has launched a new website update focused on searching, browsing, and viewing images. The update is currently in the testing phase and is aimed at improving design and performance on desktop and mobile devices. The new website will replace the current version in the near future.
The updated website introduces a "lightbox" mode that allows users to quickly scroll through and view images. Additionally, users can rate their own images using shortcut keys and filter images based on those ratings. However, organization features and image-creation capabilities will be included in future releases.
Analyst QuickTake: This news comes several days after Midjourney introduced Private Journeys, a mobile app that allows users to generate images using MidJourney's text-to-image AI generator and an upscaling feature to enlarge images.
