A2Z's to deploy Cust2Mate smart carts at Monoprix locations

  • Israeli technology solutions provider A2Z Smart Technologies Corp. has entered a strategic partnership with French retail chain Monoprix to deploy Cust2mate smart carts at Monoprix store locations. During the initial phase of the partnership, the two companies plan to deploy 250 smart carts at 20 select Monoprix locations, starting in Q4 2023.

  • Monoprix operates over 700 retail locations and is a part of the Casino Group, a mass-market retail group that operates over 11,500 locations worldwide.

  • Analyst QuickTake: A2Z has been focusing on growing its operational presence in France. In September 2023 , A2Z entered a definitive agreement with IR2S, an integrator of retail technologies in France, to deploy 30,000 smart carts during 2023–2026 across French retail locations. In October 2023 , it entered a partnership with French grocery retailer Carrefour to supply 2,000 smart carts.
