CNPC Powder, a Canada-based manufacturer of alloy-based metal powders, has raised USD 13.6 million in Series A financing. The round was led by Shunwei Capital, with participation from Dunhong Asset.
The funds will be used to increase CNPC Powder's automatization capacity by introducing more than 40 new production lines. Part of the funds will also be allocated toward technical R&D and for hiring new employees.
CNPC Powder annually produces over 3,500 tons of metal powder materials from its China-based facility. The company supplies to more than 40 countries, catering to industries like additive manufacturing, powder metallurgy, metal injection molding, and others.
