Additive Manufacturing Technologies (AMT) has introduced a new desktop chemical vapor smoothing machine called PostPro SFX. This machine is designed to improve the surface finish and mechanical properties of parts produced by small-format powder bed 3D printers.
Priced at EUR 17,999 (USD 19,000), the machine has an 11-liter process chamber and is compatible with all nylons. Some of its key features include compatibility with the patent-pending PostPro Pure consumable solvent, an automatic recipe generation software named Technology Upgrade Package (TUP lite) developed in partnership with Saint Gobain, and potential support for flexible materials like TPEs and TPUs in the future.
