Ansys and Materialise partner to overcome additive manufacturing workflow challenges

Partnerships

  • Ansys, a creator of engineering simulation software, has partnered with Materialise, a provider of 3D printing software and services.

  • The collaboration aims at integrating Ansys' software into Materialise's Magics tool to improve workflow in additive manufacturing (AM).

  • The merging of Ansys' simulation and Materialise's data preparation tools streamlines the AM process by providing a uniform platform, reducing time-to-market, and enhancing distortion compensation.

  • The partnership is set to debut their combined solution at Formnext 2023 and aims to launch the product in Q2 2024.
