Finland-based quantum hardware company IQM Quantum Computers has developed a new platform dubbed IQM Radiance. The platform has been designed to facilitate quantum computing for businesses and governments, and is optimized for larger computing and data centers.
IQM Radiance is expected to operate with a 54-qubit system by the third quarter of 2024 to allow users to efficiently operate and integrate it within their existing systems, conduct various algorithmic tests, and perform quantum advantage experiments. In Q1 2025, the company intends to upgrade the system to 150 qubits, supporting users to make real-life applications more effective in terms of computing time, power, or achieving more accurate results compared to similar classical devices.
