Quandela and Exaion collaborate to expand access to quantum computing across North America and Europe

Geographic expansion
Partnerships

  • French quantum hardware startup Quandela and Canada-based subsidiary of the EDF Group Exaion have signed an agreement to expand access to quantum computing technology across North America and Europe. The terms and financial details of the agreement have not been disclosed.

  • The partnership will build three scalable quantum computers to be used by Exaion for its extended cloud service. This service targets providing practical solutions for industries, ranging from simulating industrial failures to optimizing vehicular fleet movements.

  • The collaboration aims to co-design a hybrid high-performance computing (HPC) and quantum product and plans to base the quantum computers in zones within Europe and North America to ensure access and effectiveness for end users. Exaion also plans to recruit and train experts in quantum and AI to further exploit the potential of quantum computing.
