Kynda (formerly Keen4Greens), a German technology provider for mycelium biomass fermentation, has secured a non-dilutive grant from Germany's Ministry of Food and Agriculture. The company has also launched a seed funding round to raise USD 4 million while seeking collaborations with agri-food companies.
The grant will be used to facilitate a collaborative project with the German Institute of Food Technologies, which focuses on increasing the efficiency and scalability of mycelial protein production through Kynda's fermentation platform and waste side streams.
