Wallbox, an NYSE-listed Spanish EV-charging infrastructure manufacturer, has been chosen as the preferred partner in an EV charger installation project by Atlante, a NHOA Group company. The partnership seeks to establish a significant network of fast and ultra-fast public charging in southern Europe.
As such, the two companies aim to develop new public charging points in Italy, France, Spain, and Portugal. Atlante aims to install 5,000 charging points by 2025 and 35,000 by 2030, all of which will be powered by renewables. The charging points would include Wallbox's public charger, Supernova.
Wallbox first partnered with Atlante in 2022 when the latter chose Wallbox as a key partner for the installation of charging points in Italy.
Analyst QuickTake: This collaboration is the latest of several Wallbox has established. Earlier this month , the company partnered with Osprey, one of the UK’s largest EV charging networks, to provide 125 units of Wallbox’s Supernova DC rapid charger. In October 2023 , the company also partnered with Free2move eSolutions, a joint venture with Stellantis, to support Stellantis’ dealerships in Canada by offering Supernova chargers.
