Marqeta partners with Credi2 to offer installment payments with European banks

Partnerships

  • Marqeta, a card issuing infrastructure provider, has partnered with Credit2 (a platform offering loan originations, account management, and related services), an embedded finance solution provider, to offer installment payments with European banks.

  • Through this collaboration, Marqeta and Credi2 intend to meet the rising customer demand for flexible digital payment methods by leveraging Marqeta’s card issuing technology with Credi2’s installment payment capabilities and facilitating European banks to offer installment payments.

  • Analyst QuickTake: Today’s news on Marqeta comes nearly two weeks after the company reported its Q3 results , where the company indicated plans to grow its partnerships outside of the US. Moreover, the company has entered several partnerships with foreign companies earlier this year. This includes partnering with Scalapay to expand product reach across Europe (October) and Fitbank to expand to Brazil (July).
