Meltio partners with Büttner to distribute metal additive manufacturing solutions in Hungary

  • Spanish additive manufacturing firm Meltio announced a partnership with Hungary-based Büttner to distribute and support Meltio's metal additive manufacturing solutions in the Hungarian market.

  • Büttner will leverage the partnership to create new opportunities for Meltio's wire-laser metal Directed Energy Deposition (DED) technology, also known as Laser Metal Deposition (LMD), in Hungary.

  • They would work with technology centers, tooling machine companies, robotics integrators, and educational institutions in a bid to expand business opportunities in this line.

  • Analyst QuickTake: This collaboration aims to respond to the rising demand for wire-laser metal 3D-printing solutions in the Hungarian market, simplifying the adoption of metal additive manufacturing.
