Q-CTRL integrates quantum software into IBM Quantum Services

Partnerships

  • Australian quantum startup Q-CTRL has integrated its Q-CTRL Embedded software, a quantum infrastructure software that transforms bare-metal quantum processors into useful computational tools, with IBM Quantum's Pay-As-You-Go Plan to improve the accuracy and efficiency of quantum computing. This marks the first time that IBM Quantum's Pay-As-You-Go Plan has incorporated a third-party independent software vendor's technology. The terms and financial details of the agreement have not been disclosed.

  • The partnership will provide a user-friendly solution to get reliable results from quantum computing hardware by using Q-CTRL's software to automatically address noise and hardware error issues. The collaboration also allows the users subscribing to IBM Quantum's Pay-As-You-Go Plan to have the option to use Q-CTRL's advanced technology at no additional cost.
