Quantum Machines integrates platform into ParTec’s IP

Partnerships

  • Quantum hardware and software company Quantum Machines and modular supercomputer developer ParTec AG have extended their collaboration (initially entered in May 2023) to integrate Quantum Machines' Quantum Orchestration Platform with ParTec's proprietary IP. The terms and financial details of the agreement have not been disclosed.

  • The collaboration aims to develop a qubit-agnostic solution by 2024, allowing customers to purchase quantum processing unit (QPU) technologies from different manufacturers while having them integrated into a unified system architecture. The test-phase product, QBridge —currently under testing at the Israeli Quantum Computing Centre—is designed to integrate quantum computers into existing high-performance computing infrastructures and is expected to be broadly available by the end of 2023.

  • ParTec will also establish a production plant in Munich for assembling and testing quantum systems, and is expected to be operational by the second half of 2024.
