Carbon Maps, a French platform that tracks carbon footprint across the food industry, has secured EUR 3 million (~USD 3.2 million) in a seed funding round led by Daphni. The company's existing investors, such as Breega and Samaipata, also participated in this round. This brings Carbon Maps' total funding to EUR 7 million (~USD 7.6 million).
Carbon Maps expects to utilize the funding to advance its SaaS platform with a new eco-score system for tracking the carbon emissions of food applications at a granular level.
