Midjourney, an AI art and text-to-image generator known for its AI-generated images on Discord, has announced that it is testing an alpha version of its website (midjourney.com) for direct image generation.
The Alpha website offers a minimalistic interface featuring an “Explore” tab, showcasing public image generations. Eligible users, those who've made over 10,000 images on Midjourney, can input prompts and fine-tune settings visually.
This web-based interface allows prompt adjustments without typing commands and the Alpha site includes a “Likes” tab showing previously “hearted” Discord images.
Analyst QuickTake: The company appears to be more focused on its web-based offerings as it launched a new website update focused on searching, browsing, and viewing images in October this year.
