Agtonomy, a San Francisco-based startup offering solutions to convert tractors and equipment into autonomous machines, has secured USD 22.5 million in a Series A funding round led by Momenta, with participation from Doosan Bobcat North America and Toyota Ventures.
The company intends to use the funds to expand its customer pilot program and accelerate product development.
Analyst QuickTake: Agtonomy is actively securing funding to accelerate product development and facilitate its commercial launch. Previously, the company raised a total of USD 13.5 million in two rounds of seed funding in 2022 to expand its team and fleet of vehicles and accelerate trials. It also received an undisclosed investment from Bobcat Company in June, building on the strategic partnership between the two companies in early 2023 to advance agricultural production through electrification, autonomous operation, and digital technologies.
