Instacart launches personalized ads for Caper Carts

Product updates
Partnerships

  • Instacart has introduced an ads feature for its smart cart solution, Caper Carts, to enable companies to display personalized recommendations related to items in the store aisles. Instacart launched the feature in partnership with its consumer packaged goods (CPG) brand partners, including Del Monte Foods, Dreyer's Grand Ice Cream, and General Mills.

  • The feature will utilize the Caper Cart home screen to display ads related to new products and brands, deals, and seasonal promotions and provide customers with personalized product recommendations based on their cart contents and shopping behavior.

  • The technology will be initially launched at the Good Food Holdings' Bristol Farms stores in Southern California, with plans for additional retail partnerships in the following months.
